Roy is just a gem of a dog. If you are retired and looking for a dog to take everywhere with you, he is your boy! Roy came to us when his former owner was diagnosed with terminal cancer and went into a nursing home. And while Roy is perfectly fine in his foster home with both adults working during the day, he would love to have another best friend to pal around with all day long, play fetch with (he LOVES to play fetch!) and cuddle in bed with at night. He loves affection, to the point where he moans when you pet him.. :) And he has been an excellent boy in his new home, pretty much ignoring the cats that live there and quickly learning how and where to signal to go outside to potty. He is fine with the dogs there as well, but really has no interest in playing with them. He is even great at the dog park, making friends with every person there as he drops a ball in front of them and begs them to throw it for him. So warm up that throwing arm and get ready for your new best friend!

A $350.00 adoption fee applies to most of the dogs in our program. The donation goes towards the cost of spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, heartworm preventative or treatment, de-worming medication, microchipping, food and grooming supplies.
