Th is is Wyatt and he is seeking his perfect forever home. He's approximately 1yr old, up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped and crate & house trained. He showed up at a rural school one day where the superintendent knew that if he went to the shelter there that he would be put down so he hid him on one of the districts school buses until he could find a rescue to take him. All the rescues in the area they were in cringed at the words 'pit bull' so one of Missouri's great dog warriors got to work trying to find him a place to go. She contacted me and sent me his picture and I just melted. How could anyone say no to that sweet face?! Wyatt is high energy so he needs someone who can provide lots of play and exercise. He would make the perfect running partner. He's not aggressive, but he is completely unaware of his size and strength so I feel like he would do best in a home without small children. He's also a fence jumper, as he bounds over my 4ft chain link fence without issue, so he also needs someone who has a privacy fenced yard. He loves playing with my dogs and gets along well with every dog I've introduced him to, even my crazy dominating jack russel mix. When we introduced him to 3 small wiener dogs he was very curious and got close to check them out, but as soon as they growled and barked at him he immediately cowered and removed himself from them. He was pretty scared of them. lol He's a total sweetheart and will make the right family the prefect companion.
