Cane has moved to a new foster home and loves having a foster sister to play with! Cane is approximately 6-7 years old.

Cane has been getting along well with all the dogs in his foster home. He walks well on a leash, comes when he is called, and even is good off the leash. He is learning sit. He is very gentle and sweet. He's very well behaved around kids and adults. He is working on potty training and crating during the day while his foster parents are at work.

Cane went to his foster home today! We're sure he is very excited to be out after almost 4 months of boarding. Cane will be in the home with 2 male weims and 1 female weim, so they will have a large time getting to know one another and playing. We will post more info as we learn more about Cane.

Cane is a small (about 50lbs) male weim. He's a very sweet boy who is currently undergoing heartworm treatment. As soon as he is heartworm negative, he will be ready for his forever home!

Cane and T-Blue ended up at a high kill animal control in Louisiana. Fortunately for them, an AC officer contacted WRS and we were able to step in and get these boys to safety. Unfortunately, their previous life has not been so good to them - both are underweight and heartworm positive. WRS will provide whatever care we can to get these two boys healthy, safe, happy, and in a forever home that will love them dearly!
