Rosebud English Bulldog & American Bulldog Mix Los Angeles, CA

Rosebud is a 2-year old Old English Bulldog, weighing about 50lbs. She really should be about twice that amount because she is skin and bones. She arrived at the shelter malnourished and confused as she had been ripped away from her litter of puppies who had all been sold off by a Backyard Breeder, making Rosebud no longer needed.  She was sad, dirty and distraught without her babies. She was about to have her short, sad life ended at the shelter until DWB swooped in and rescued her.She is called Rosebud because when she finds her loving Forever Home she is going to bloom like a Rose in the sun. She is VERY affectionate. She was not sure what a hug or a kiss was to begin with because she clearly had never experienced either, but now she has decided that hugs and kisses are the best thing ever and can't get enough of them. She also enjoys going for walks and lying in the sunshine. Of course, being a bulldog she snores.She walks nicely on a leash and is housebroken. She is probably best as the only dog in the household as she likes to be dominantwith other dogs and because of her size she can be intimidating. Although she is still malnourished, she otherwise is healthy.Please give this beautiful big girl the loving home she deserves. She looks tough but she is sweet and soft.
