Meet Atticus
Atticus is a Rottweiler mix, (mixed with something fluffy), that was born 9/14/12. He loves leisurely walks, sleeping, eating, sleeping some more, chasing bunnies, squirrels, birds and bugs, sleeping some more, always game for eating again, and just hanging out on the couch to....you guessed it, nap again! Haha. Seriously though, Atticus is such a great boy! He is potty trained, walks well on a leash, knows basic commands like "sit", "down", "come" and "wait" and can be trusted in the house when you are not home, (but he's fine in a kennel too if need be). He loves people and kids, (and is very gentle with kids), and is learning to love other dogs. He'd prefer a home by himself, or with his sister, Toga, (who is also available for adoption). If the home did have another dog, that dog would need to be a medium to large dog that is laid back and doesn't want to play with Atticus. Like an older dog or just a dog that knows to give him space. He takes awhile to warm up to new dogs and just prefers to be left alone so he can take another nap. ? He really is the easiest dog ever! Please consider adopting this handsome boy!
Adopted 5 yrs ago as a baby and returned 5/8/17. We will never understand how you can have a baby for 5 yrs and then discard
Found as a stray in KCK along with his sister. Â Completely adorable, huge pup. Â Born early Sept 2012.
All of our dogs are current on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, fecal tested, heartworm tested, and they are all on heartworm and flea/tick preventative. The adoption process is an application, a vet reference, a home visit, and a lifetime contract. The requested adoption donation for this dog is $250___. We are willing to adopt out-of-state, contingent on our ability to complete a home visit, but you must travel to Omaha to complete the adoption. We do not transport or ship our dogs.
