Meet Samson & Delilah

Samson and Delilah are an inseparable pair of adult Saint Bernards.  The vets put them from about 2 to 4 years old.  They have a great disposition and love to please.  Samson is a standard rough coat Saint and Delilah is a smooth coat Saint and must be adopted together and live inside their new home.  Since coming to IndyCLAW, they have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, and are current on shots, flea/tick & heartworm meds. Delilah has also had entropion surgery to both eyes.
This beautiful couple was found wandering as strays in a rural Ohio community and picked up by their local Animal Control.  They were such a good natured pair of dogs that the shelter just knew their owner would be missing them and come to claim them, but after a month without results they called IndyCLAW to take them so they would not be separated.  They were transported to their foster home south west of Indy where they have been vetted and are being introduced to new and exciting challenges.  They have learned to walk on a leash, are being socialized with other animals, and are gaining new areas of the foster home to interact with their other dogs and cats.
The adoption fee for this awesome pair is $500 total.

IndyCLAW Rescue, Inc stands for 'Creating Lifelong Animal Welfare'. It is not just our motto, it's also our mission statement. Our adoption process is face to face and involves an application, a home visit, a 'sleep over' trial period, and a reasonable rehoming fee to conclude the adoption process. We will not ship our dogs or put them on an out of state transport. We are a not for profit group, though not yet 501c3, and do not recieve funding from any sources other than our personal incomes, generous donations from private individulals and our fees. Generally speaking, each dog we adopt out has more vet expenses than the adoption fee covers. We have a vested interest in each of our adoptable pets and want to make sure that their future home can provide for their long term needs. There is also an adoption contract that does include a clause for the return of the pet to us, if the adoption fails or circumstances change making it so the pet has to move on to another home.

We look forward to your emails and inquiries.
