Meet Taco
Hi! My name is Taco and I a very sweet, BLIND, wire-haired Fox Terrier mix. I am looking for a home of my own. Look at this adorable face, how could you say no? I am currently safe in the rescue, which is nice and comfortable, but I sure would prefer a home and a family to call my own.
I am a very nice girl, and I get along with pretty much everyone, including other dogs. I may be small (about four pounds) but boy am I MIGHTY!! I am full of energy, spunk, and good habits! I am crate trained, house trained, and walk very well on a leash. I have a big heart and a lot of love to give, and would love to go to a family that wants me to spend the rest of my life knowing what it feels like to be loved, safe, and protected.
I do not let being blind slow me down much. I can be wary of small kids and strangers since I don’t know them, and I’m not sure what they are going to do next. I would probably do best in a quiet family with adults or older children.
I am spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on all my vaccinations. My adoption fee is $275. If you think you might have the right home for me, please visit the Valhalla Canine Rescue website at www.valhallarescue.org/ourdogs/adoptable and fill out an adoption application.
My adoption fee allows Valhalla Rescue to continue to provide care and medical treatment (including spay/neuter services) for dogs like me while we look for our forever homes. This fee also helps cover the ongoing costs of caring for less adoptable dogs that require longer stays in the shelter, or more advanced medical treatment before finding their forever homes.
