LOVERBOY Domestic Short Hair Grand Rapids, MI

I am not so much a huge fan of the band Loverboy as I am of THIS cat; hence his name! Man, if only I could take yet another fabulous feline home, HE would be on the top of my list (darn husbands:). Born in the summer of 2010, lithe, languid lothario some how ended up a stray sweetheart in the Southgate area; lucky for him WAG volunteer Vickie Taylor set her sights on him, as he tested positive for FIV. Since she was already transporting Pixie to us, we had her bring him along for the ride! Thin as a rail, teeming with two types of internal parasites that was keeping the weight off of his feline frame, I had just what the doctor ordered for him to bring him back up to health and a satisfying state of well-being. Now I am quite partial to this pussycat, but even if I wasn't totally paw-over-heels smitten with this kitteh, I would still be singing his praises! Yup, he is by far one of the nicest, most gentle, ultimately affectionate cats in our midst; and you all know just how many fabulous, friendly felines we have at our sanctuary, so this is a tall order that he fills with ease! He adores being nestled up close to your neck within nuzzling distance of course, or better yet, being perched on your shoulder for a ride around the building with his best buddy ~ YOU! And it goes without saying that a little piece of my heart will go with him when he is able to leave our place for a home of his own, but more than anything in the world, I want him and all the others here to know what home life is all about. If I can give them anything in the world, I want it to be health, happiness and a home of their own!
