Forgotten Dogs Rescue

Seattle, WA

Our Mission

Forgotten Dogs Rescue is a volunteer and foster home based rescue organization focused on saving Pit Bull type dogs. Located in Washington State, we are a 501c3 non-profit and have been saving animals since 2011. We are dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned dogs who are in Washington's shelters, surrendered by their owners due to difficult circumstances or are in danger of abuse or neglect.

We save the dogs that need help the most, the dogs whose time has run out, the dogs who have lost all hope — the forgotten dogs.

Adoption Policy

The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an adoption application, which can be downloaded from our website www.forgottendogsrescue.com.
The application allows us to see what you're looking for in a dog and make sure the dog will fit your home, lifestyle, and expectations.
Our number one priority is to find homes that are the best match for the dogs in our rescue.

Per our rescue policy, unless specifically noted in a dog's bio, we will not consider adoption applications from families with children under 5 years old.
