Our Mission
Rilee's Legacy is a small dog and cat rescue located in Rochester, NY. Our organization was started in honor of our founder's lab Rilee who passed away in 2013. Â Our mission is to find safe, secure and loving forever homes for dogs and cats in need. Â We pull our rescues from high kill shelters or from situations that place the animals at risk of being placed in a shelter.Â
Adoption Policy
All of our animals will be up to date on shots, receive heartworm or feline leukemia testing, microchipped and spayed/neutered upon adoption. Â We require a home visit, meet and greet, reference checks and vet reference before adoption. Â Our adoption fees are as follows:Â
Dogs under 1 year old: $625.00
Dogs over 1 year old: $500.00
Cats under 1 year old: $300.00
Cats over 1 year old: $250.00
