Our Mission
It is our mission to provide pregnant dogs, newly whelped litters, and orphaned pups a safe place to go, away from the stress and dangers of euthanasia and disease that they are vulnerable to at shelters. We are dedicated to helping to control the pet population through public education, spaying & neutering. We will search and find safe, loving, permanent homes for all of our rescued dogs.
Adoption Policy
Potential adopters submit an application via our website. Once submitted, we call vet reference and 2 personal references and perform a physical home visit of the potential adopter's home. If all of the above is satisfactory, we send them an email verifying they are approved and give them an Approval Card. If they have resident pets, we will bring the dog or pup that they are interested in to their home for a meet and greet with resident pets and family members to make sure it is a good fit. If all goes well, an adoption contract is signed and we provide the adopter with a folder that provides info on all medical care, other helpful information about caring for their new pet. The contract states that if they decide not to keep the dog or pup, they are required to return the pet to our rescue.
