Our Mission
PCRT is focused on providing a safe and clean landing place for unhoused dogs in the Greater Rochester area. We strive to provide ethical, compassionate, and individual care to each foster dog in our care. We are committed to educating the community on proper care for animals as well as provide resources for those struggling with caring for their pets. Our goal is to keep pets with their families, and find furever homes for those without.
Adoption Policy
Our adoption process begins with an application. If the application looks to fit the needs of the pet they are applying for, we begin by contacting the applicant to discuss. If this step leads up closer to feeling the fit is the right one for both the pet and family applying, we will then complete the veterinarian check, and contact references prior to setting up a meet and greet. We are dedicated to matching pets with their perfect fit, and vice versa!
