Who are we and What we do! Contented Critters Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit (EIN: 41-1835418, License: MN140872) located in Ely, Minnesota. Contented Critters is not a Walk-In Facility; we are by appointment only. Contented Critters has an application process as we believe it helps get pets in a right fit home. Everyone must apply online if interested in meeting an animal. ​ The mission of Contented Critters is to advocate for critters in need! We help animals in need through rescue, spay & neuter, appropriate veterinary care, and adoption. ​ Our vision is to reduce the community need for pet rescue through preemptive measures, such as a spay and neuter program for pets in our care, and community outreach and education. Contented Critters loves to do Microchip & Toenail trimming Clinics, Pet Food shelves, Animal visits to senior centers and more! Let us know if you'd like to host us for a community event! ​
