Our Mission

We rescue community cats, and provide immediate shelter, transportation, medical care and rehabilitation. Find appropriate permanent home for the rescue cats and support activities that increase the number of successful adoptions into loving homes. Our rescue is a volunteer only foster based organization. Our core initiative is to implement a comprehensive spay/neuter/vaccinate program to control and reduce the stray and feral cat communities and overpopulation in Puerto Rico. We are working to establish collaboration with local veterinarians to offer affordable or free spay/neuter/vaccinate services. Educate the community and raise awareness about responsible pet ownership and guardianship. And promote the humane management of community cat colonies through public outreach and education. Also engage in activities to raise funds to support those charitable activities described above.

Adoption Policy

1. Application with questionnaire
2. Interview call
4. If accepted, exchange of pet fee donation.

Any potential adopter should fill out a questionnaire and then an application form (for a specific cat or for general pre-approval). After we review the application, a phone interview will be arranged for the qualified applicants for final approval. After the approval the applicant may be able to visit the location where our cats are fostered. Finally the adopter will sign the adoption contract, pay the adoption fee and then pick up the cat. If the adopter is located in a different location than the cat, for example some cats are fostered in Puerto Rico, we will make the arrangements for delivering the cat and all details will also be discussed. We can usually find flight angels to bring the cat to mainland USA. We don't charge for arranging the trip. ( pet ticket is about $95-$125 depending the airline plus the traveling back and its included in the pet adoption fee.)
