Phoebe's Story

Phoebe, the Velcro Cat with a Heart of Gold
If love could be wrapped in fur, it would be Phoebe.

This beautiful two-year-old calico is the definition of affection. She doesn't just enjoy human companionship, she craves it. Phoebe wants to be where you are, doing what you're doing, and making sure you're never alone. Whether she's curled up in your arms, asking for pets, or gently investigating your face up close, her mission in life is simple: to love and be loved.

Phoebe is one of those rare cats who genuinely enjoys being held. She melts into hugs, welcomes kisses, and happily soaks up every bit of affection offered to her. In return, she has her own special ways of showing love. She'll give gentle face sniffs, nuzzle close, and make the sweetest little thoughtful sounds, almost as if she's narrating her feelings out loud. One of her foster family's favorite quirks is how she sticks her tongue out and licks the air while scratching her ears, a tiny habit that somehow makes her even more adorable.

Her journey to safety was not an easy one. Phoebe and her younger brother, Ferb, were found wandering in the middle of a road, both severely neglected and struggling to survive. Phoebe was malnourished, her face covered in dark discharge from untreated eye infections, and she suffered from severe cat acne and chronic congestion. Despite everything she had endured, she remained gentle, trusting, and eager for human affection.

Today, Phoebe is a completely different cat. She has been fully treated, is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for her forever home. While she occasionally experiences mild allergy symptoms, they are well managed and expected to improve further in a stable indoor environment.

Beyond cuddling, Phoebe loves to play. She is curious about everything, enjoys interactive toys, and never says no to a good meal. She is a true foodie and is always excited when mealtime arrives.

Phoebe also gets along wonderfully with other cats and shares a particularly close bond with her younger brother, Ferb. While she can certainly thrive in a home with other feline companions, adopting her alongside Ferb would be a dream come true. Their relationship is full of comfort, friendship, and affection.

Phoebe is looking for someone who wants a constant companion. Someone who doesn't mind a cat following them from room to room, asking for cuddles, and making every day a little brighter. She has already overcome so much and never stopped believing in people.

Now she's ready to find the person who will love her as deeply as she loves everyone around her.

We are seeking adopters for a bonded pair primarily and discount available for adoption a pair.
