Our Mission

The mission of Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue and Adoption, Inc. is to work closely with animal control officers and other rescue organization to reduce the number of animals entering into and being euthanized at local shelters. Mostly Mutts provides housing, health care, training, physical and emotional care to adoptable animals, while we work toward finding them a loving home. Adoption Policy

Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process

--During Covid, our adoption process has changed a bit to the following--

To help ensure the safety of our volunteers and staff, our shelter is closed to the public and open by appointment only. A donation bin is located in the front of the building for drop-offs.
Adoption Info:

Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only.

Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.

Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly. Due to the overwhelming demand, many are matched with approved applicants prior to being posted online. Our adoption counselors will be happy to help make a great match for you and your family.

Thank you for your patience and support!
