A SWEET & GENTLE GIRL: Approx. 8 years old / Approx. 41 lbs.<br/><br/>Hi, my name is Glynnis! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control, and I am grateful for the love and attention I am receiving while I wait for my new family to find me. I hope to meet them soon! Ive gotten to spend some time in a few different foster homes and Ive loved it, so Im ready for my furever home now! I was also selected to participate in the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups immersive training experience and learned a lot!<br/><br/> OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I recently met dogs at Mostly Mutts and I liked the male dogs only. I am a vocal player, which can be off-putting for some pups, but if you have a nice, male doggie at home already that wouldn't mind this style of play, let's meet with my trainer and see if we can be pals! / There was a cat in my temp. foster home whom I did try to chase. / I met two nice boys around 6 years old at Mostly Mutts and did well with them, so a home with kids ages 10 and up could be a good fit for me. Let's meet!<br/><br/> PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: The volunteers say I am a super sweet and precious girl who just melts into them for scratches and attention. I love to give the volunteers lots of kisses to show them how much I appreciate them! When I am sleeping soundly, I will dream and make the cutest little noises and foot kicks. In my temp. foster home, I would alert my foster when a delivery man came to the door. Im reported to be gentle, cuddly, friendly, easy-going, and just a fun, happy girl! My temporary foster said I am the sweetest dog ever! My sweet nature is sure to melt your heart. / My energy level is 5-7.<br/><br/> SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: Im a proud graduate of the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups immersive training experience, so Ive learned the sit, stay, down, come, drop it, leave it and place commands. I also use proper door etiquette and have good leash manners using my EZ walk harness as well as accept nice strangers without jumping. I sometimes have a reaction to other dogs from afar when walking, but my trainer has worked with me on this and will show you how to handle this behavior. Let's continue my training as there are more classes I can take through the free lifetime training that Mostly Mutts offers for all their rescue dogs. / I had good crate manners in the prison/foster training program, but I dont really need one and sleep outside of my crate in a doggie bed when I visit temp. foster homes. I havent bothered anything that doesnt belong to me. / In my temp. foster homes, I did well going out a little more frequently than the shelter schedule allows. My potty habits were good in the off-site training program I was in, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home, too! <br/><br/> LIKES/DISLIKES: I enjoy being with people and will sometimes just lie down when I know we are headed back to my kennel as I would like to spend more time together. I love our walks and time together and just dont want it to end! The best part is when we are just hanging out, and I can collect those soft cuddles and gentle scratches that I love. I enjoy chasing a ball in the yard and collecting sticks. Going for car rides is fun, too! Curling up for a nap in a nice soft blanket feels so good. In my temp. foster home, I enjoyed some peanut butter and pumpkin which was so yummy! I also love giving kisses, so youll know youre loved! / I dont think Id like being rushed into new situations, so please give me a little time to adjust. The elevator was a bit new to me, but I hope to get better with practice. Other than that, Im sure I wouldnt like it if I didnt get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.<br/><br/> MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I have moderate tartar on my teeth, so my adoptive family should consult with their vet and consider a dental cleaning in the future. I started an inexpensive anxiety medication to help with some shelter stress Ive been experiencing. I should be able to wean off of it once Im settled into my furever home.<br/><br/>I am looking for a wonderful home with a loving, furever family! My adoption fee is $299.00, and Im located in Kennesaw, Ga.
