Our Mission

At Rowdy Sisters Rescue Co., we’re flipping the rescue script. Founded and run by first-generation cowgirls, we’re not just pulling animals from shelters—we’re working to stop them from ending up there in the first place. Our mission is to keep pets in homes and out of shelters by supporting the people who love them. We provide community-based resources like providing info on low-cost spay and neuter, help with basic veterinary care, transportation, and hands-on help for families, seniors, and anyone struggling to care for their animals. We believe rescue isn’t just about adoption it’s about prevention, outreach, and building systems of support that keep animals safe before crisis hits.

Adoption Policy

At Rowdy Sisters Rescue Co., our priority is finding lifelong, loving homes for every animal in our care. All potential adopters must complete an adoption application, and a home visit—virtual if needed—will be conducted. References or prior pet ownership may be requested, but veterinary checks are not required. Adoption fees are flexible, with the goal of placing each animal in the perfect home, and may vary based on age, medical needs, or special circumstances. All dogs are spayed/neutered, crate trained unless otherwise disclosed, potty trained (with exceptions for senior pets with incontinence noted), and walk well on a leash; if you do not have a crate, we can provide one. Any known medical issues, behavior concerns, or special needs will be fully disclosed prior to adoption. We will always take back an adopted pet for any reason, and adopters are encouraged to contact us immediately if challenges arise so we can work together on a solution. Adopters agree to provide a safe, loving, and permanent home for the pet, and animals should not be rehomed or surrendered to another rescue or shelter without consulting Rowdy Sisters Rescue Co. first. Some pets may have exceptions to crate or potty training, which will be disclosed before adoption, and our focus is on long-term success rather than quick placement.
