Our Mission
Charm Adopt is a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit that rescues vulnerable and abandoned dogs in South Korea — many of whom face limited adoption chances due to their size, breed, or medical needs — and helps them find loving forever homes in the U.S. Working with volunteers, foster families, and rescue partners in both countries, we don't just find homes; we find the right homes, thoughtfully matching each dog with the family they were meant to have. Because distance should never stand in the way.
Adoption Policy
All dogs listed here are already in the U.S., so there's no international flight or customs process — adoption is usually much faster than for dogs still in Korea. To adopt, complete our online application (5-10 business days to review), followed by a phone interview and video home check. Once approved, adopters sign our adoption agreement and pay the standard $800 adoption fee — the same fee we charge for all our dogs — which reimburses the health exam, vaccines, spay/neuter, microchip, kennel, and the airfare that originally brought them here from Korea, so it can go toward rescuing another dog in need. For local adopters, we'll arrange a meet-up directly; if you live elsewhere in the U.S., an additional domestic transportation fee may apply, which we'll confirm with you during the process.
