Folsom, CA<br/><br/>Happy’s story began in rural South Korea, where she was kept tied outside a home and repeatedly mistreated by her owner. She was often left without proper food, water, or care. After concerned neighbors reported the situation, Happy was taken to a local shelter—but sadly, her owner reclaimed her and the abuse continued.<br/><br/>Thankfully, Happy was eventually rescued for good and is now safe in a loving foster home in California. She has received her vaccinations, proper nutrition, and the care she needed, and today she is healthy and thriving.<br/><br/>What makes Happy especially remarkable is her incredible love for people. Despite everything she has been through, she greets people with a bright smile, loves giving kisses, and happily soaks up affection. She is sweet, smart, playful, and wonderfully affectionate—her difficult past has never taken away her joyful spirit.
