Sacramento SPCA
Our Mission
The mission of the Sacramento SPCA is to foster a loving and compassionate community for animals and people by providing assistance, creating lifelong relationships, and saving lives.
Founded in 1894, the Sacramento SPCA has been providing homeless animals with individual comfort, shelter, and love for more than 123 years. We provide compassionate medical care to tens of thousands of animals annually and offer a variety of programs and services designed to keep people and pets together for life.
Adoption Policy
Adopt
There is someone here waiting for you. All adoptions must be done in-person to ensure you’re sent home with the best friend that is right for you and your lifestyle.
Adopting a pet is a big decision. Â Please keep in mind that our selection of adoptable animals changes daily. Plan to visit us often as you search for the right companion for your family. We look forward to helping you.
