Our Mission
Companion Animal Foundation's mission is to raise the quality of life of animals by decreasing pet overpopulation through spay/neuter assistance as well as public education and finding forever homes for animals in need. Companion Animal Foundation provides meaningful programs for both children and adults which help increase awareness of the unique relationship we share with our animal friends. Companion Animal Foundation works cooperatively with all rescue groups and the community to find good homes for adoptable animals.
Adoption Policy
If interested, we have potential adopters meet the animal in person and fill out our adoption application. After reviewing the application, which are processed in the order they are received, as long as everything checks out and is good to go we will reach out to the applicant to either set up an adoption appointment (if the animal of interest is altered and ready to go), ask some clarifying questions if part of the application was unclear, or let you know that the animal is already spoken for. We require that ALL family members meet the animal prior to adoption. Once the kitty or puppy, cat or dog is ready to go- we do an in person adoption where we go over pet care, the history of your new family member, microchip the animal, and help fill out the registration information.
