Atari's Story
This is a courtesy post for a community member.
This precious girl needs a loving new home. Atari is nine years old and about 23 lbs. She is a mix of small breed dogs and is a wonderful companion and extremely loyal. Like many of us she faces some anxiety. She was rescued as a puppy and perhaps had been abused. She likes cuddles but cannot be touched on her sides or belly. She needs reassurance on car rides.
Atari is shy at first meeting but then warms up. She is overstimulated by the other dogs in her current home, especially a new puppy. She needs a dedicated and nurturing environment in a calm home without other dogs or young kids. She is fine with cats.
She loves walks. She wants to please and walks well on a leash. She is a princess and thrives as the center of attention. We want her to go to the perfect home where she can live her best life.
Atari is spayed and her vaccines will be updated at the end of June. She is house trained.
There is a rehoming fee for Atari. The home must have good recommendations, ensuring she receives the love and care she deserves.
She is not at our adoption center. For more information or to set up a meet and greet please contact Liz at 707 496-9623 or elizabethfinger1@gmail.com.
Please share.
