American Bully Rescue of Ontario
Our Mission
The American Bully Rescue of Ontario is a volunteer run organization. We rescue, protect, and improve the lives of American Bullies that find themselves homeless, abused, or neglected.
We work to promote responsible ownership while supporting responsible, reputable breeders that are dedicated to improving the American Bullies genetics, traits and characteristics. We give local representation and defense for the American Bully breed to protect it against breed discrimination and Breed Specific Legislation.
Adoption Policy
Thank you for your interest in adopting a dog through ABRO.
ABRO strives to ensure the success of our dogs and their adopters. We want to make sure that the potential adopter knows all quirks and habits of a dog so nothing is a surprise and the dog enters a forever home.
All dogs adopted from ABRO are:
Examined by a veterinarian within 6 months
Temperament tested
Brought up to date on vaccines
Microchipped
Dewormed
Spayed/Neutered.
Bloodwork done if senior (10+)
We often receive multiple applications for one dog. We do not choose on a 'first come, first serve' basis, but rather strive to choose an adopter who is the best match for each particular pup.
Please note that our applications team is composed exclusively of volunteers who process applications in their free time. The team does their best to respond to each email, inquiry, and application in a timely manner.
