Our Mission
The BC Reptile Club (BCRC) is a provincially registered non-profit organization that advocates for exotic pets and their keepers. The club was formed in 2008 to give reptile keepers across British Columbia a unified voice in lawmaking proceedings related to the hobby. Since then, the club has expanded to meet other needs of the community, including animal rehabilitation, encouraging and pushing for high standards in care and husbandry, and assisting other non-profit rescue groups in any way we are able to.
Adoption Policy
Our adoption policies are application based, reference checks, contract at minimum. Because different species have such different care requirements, applications are screened on a case by case basis to chose the most appropriate home where the animals needs are met.
