Meet Spirit
Spirit is stunning ~18 year old Missouri Foxtrotter mare. She was surrendered to us due to the health of her owner. Spirit has settled in and is ready to find her new home. She has lived with a mixed herd of mares and geldings here at LCR. Due to some confirmation faults in her hind legs (dropped pasterns), we do not feel she is comfortable when being ridden. She would make an excellent companion horse. She is able to go out onto grass and is a relatively easy keeper (minimal grain and no medications).
If you are interested in adopting one of our equines, please complete the equine placement on our website, www.lastchanceranch.org. Equine placement fees range from $150 to $2000 depending on the age, training and abilities of the equine. The placement fee includes current vaccines, negative Coggins test, dental floating, de-worming and farrier trimming. All equine adopters must live within 3 hours of Last Chance Ranch in Quakertown, PA.
