March's Story

March is a quarter horse mare who is approximately 8 years old. She loves attention from people and is extremely food motivated. She has a super sweet personality and loves finding toys to play with. March is currently in our training program. She is easy to halter and lead around in her paddock and is safe around equipment. She can have her body brushed and we are working on her being confident with touching her legs. She is learning how to have manners and be responsive in groundwork. She ties well and loads easily into our stock trailer. March is very herd bound to the other horses here, and will need an experienced and confident handler to be able to work with her and teach her new things.

HOW TO ADOPT: Interested in adopting this horse or other equines at the ARL?
