Adoption Policy

If you see an ARL pet on Petfinder that you're interested in adopting, visit ARL-Iowa.org. If the pet is listed there, the pet is still available. If it is not, the pet has most likely been adopted. IMPORTANT: All adoptions are first-come, first-served and in person. The ARL does not have an online adoption application. If a pet has contact info in their bio, please reach out to that contact to set up a visit. If not, visit the location the pet is listed at at ARL-Iowa.org. Adoption process info: ARL-Iowa.org/AdoptionProcess. Locations/hours: ARL-Iowa.org/Locations.
