Meet Bowie

Hi Friends…Meet Bowie! This 4 year old will not only charm you will his palomino good looks and fun personality, but he can show off all of the skills he has learned since coming into the rescue! He will come in from the field when called, greet you at the gate, and will stand for grooming. He has learned to lead over all types of surfaces: wooden bridges, gravel, concrete, and through water. Bowie has also progressed from never having his feet handled to standing, untied, for farrier work with a patient farrier.

He is now ready for a mule experienced home that will continue his training! Bowie loves to learn and could be taken in any direction from riding to packing. If you have a peppermint treat he will follow you anywhere and do anything. Bowie is current on vaccinations, Coggins, and hoof trims. He has no health issues and is sound.

Bowie loves other equines, but can be a bit pushy in typical young mule fashion, so he does best with older horses or donkeys that will set boundaries with him.
