Zuzu is an adorable girl that had a really bad life prior to us rescuing her. She is a 45-50lbs Bully breed that is about 3-5 years old.
Her life obviously consisted of living in a dirty cage having litter after litter for the sole purpose of money.
Her body must of gave out and was not useful any longer so she was then dumped on the side of the road where she laid until picked up by animal control days later and brought to the shelter.
It is very obvious that she was terribly beaten and horribly neglected. It has taken some time to get her healthy and help her realize she no longer has to endure horrible treatment.
She now enjoys being loved on, good food, treats, toys and blankets to snuggle and make nests in. Just to see her happy and playing makes you smile.

Zuzu is so very sweet in spite of what she has been through and dearly loves people. We are looking for a home that has lots of love and patience for her and make her part of the family. A home that wants an adorable snorting pup to follow them and be loved on.
She is good with other dogs and cats. Due to her past circumstance a home without children would probably be best. An experienced dog and/or bully breed owner is preferred.
She is an amazing girl but has been through a lot and is still mentally healing from her years of abuse. When she gets to know and trust you she wants all the attention she can get.
She is great with women but is a little weary of men. We are thinking it was a man that owned her and was mean to her.

She is not fully house trained yet. She is so much better from when her foster first got her but will need a routine. We are thinking a fenced in yard probably would be best for this reason.
