Zoom

Zoom was found in a crate in the backyard of an abandoned home. Someone who lived nearby told animal control about the situation, and they picked up Zoom along with many other dogs on the property. When he arrived at the shelter, it was almost at capacity so he didn’t have much time. Thankfully one of our fosters agreed to bring Zoom into her home, and we were able to save him. He has shown us that he is very smart and is learning new things quickly. We hope he’ll find a forever home soon and get to live the rest of his life being loved.

Zoom has done great with children as young as 8. He likes to play with other dogs of any size and loves everyone he meets. He is also cat friendly. He has learned the commands sit, stay, come and no jump. He knows how to use a dog door, is house trained and leash trained.

Zoom is 2 years old and weighs 46 pounds. We think he’s a Border Collie and Australian Shepherd mix.
He is neutered, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. He is also microchipped, heartworm negative and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Zoom can arrive in Dewitt, NY on 11/7.
