Zoe's Story
Meet Zoe! This sweet goofy girl is 50lbs and estimated to be around nine years old. Zoe is a really easy dog, after being rescued in Texas she's grateful for her tasty treats and warm beds in foster care. She has a heart full of love and is looking forward to settling into her forever home!

Her foster says:

"Zoe is a sweet, cuddly, easygoing senior who wants nothing more than to be loved. She is extremely chill and happy to spend most of her day napping, but she will surprise you by waking up in the mood to bounce around and play, getting little bursts of ‘zoomies’ where she hops around the room, and she loves going on leisurely walks.

She is a talker and will let you know what she thinks with happy grunts while she’s eating, or expressive grumbles when you are petting or scratching her, but she doesn’t bark. She is extremely affectionate and would make a perfect cuddly couch potato companion to binge watch shows with during winter months indoors.

She will pause to let other dogs come up and say hello on walks or at the dog park, although she doesn’t seem especially interested in them. She is curious about cats and will approach them with interest (sometimes a bit too much, but it’s playful, not aggressive and she calms down once she’s had a couple of days to get used to them). She will subtly let you know when she needs to go outside for a potty break by walking to the door."

INTERESTED IN ADOPTING?
To adopt Zoe, apply on our website www.truenorthrescue.org/adopt and email adopt.truenorthrescue@gmail.com to follow up on your application.

PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL TO ASK IF HE/SHE IS AVAILABLE.
