1. Submit an Adoption Application Interested adopters begin by completing our adoption application. This allows us to learn about the adopter’s home, lifestyle, experience, and expectations. 2. Application Review & Approval Call Once reviewed, approved applicants receive a phone call from our team to discuss the animal’s needs, answer questions, and confirm that the home is a good fit. 3. Meet & Greet We schedule a meet and greet with the adopter, the animal, and any resident pets or family members to ensure everyone is comfortable and compatible. 4. 3-Week Foster-to-Adopt Trial If the meet and greet goes well, the adopter begins a 3-week foster-to-adopt period. This allows the animal time to adjust to the home and ensures the adoption is a good fit. If additional time is needed, we are happy to extend the trial. 5. Finalize the Adoption After a successful trial week, the adoption is officially completed and finalized. Paperwork is signed, medical records are transferred, and the animal officially becomes part of their new family.
