Zipper: adoption pending

Zipper is being fostered in FL<br/><br/>Zipper loves to run around and play in backyard. He could really use a buddy that is tolerant with puppy antics. He is pretty respectful of other dogs when they tell him no/enough. He is still a bit mouthy and is learning what is acceptable to bite/play with and what is not. He likes to chase balls and other dogs around the yard. He is a very vocal boy and barks and talks to you when excited. We are still working on housebreaking but he is doing well and no accidents in the crate. He settles well in a crate both in the house and in a car. Zipper gets walked daily and is learning how to walk on lead. He does ok but gets excited when cars pass by. He is learning the word leave it. Zipper knows how to sit on command and is now offering a sit when he wants something. He is learning how to down. Zipper is staring to enjoy cuddling. When he first arrived, he didn’t really want to cuddle. Now, after romping around backyard, he will sit next to you or will crawl into your lap for attention. Zipper is a mix of some sort of herding breeds so he will need a home who understand how to train/entertain a herder. Zipper has a lot of energy for a pup so a backyard or even a pool (supervised of course) would be best. He is a goofy loving boy that will melt your heart with his gorgeous blue eyes. He doesn’t have full vision but definitely has some. He is sensitive to bright lights.<br/>BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
