Zinnia's Story
Absolutely — I’d make Zinnia sound less like a “resilient rescue dog” and more like the **easygoing, well-mannered housemate** she actually is. I’d also drop the “deserving mama” language since it doesn’t fit the updated picture.

**Meet Zinnia — Pretty, Polite & Ready for Her Forever Home!**

Some dogs are looking for a home. **Zinnia is looking for her people.** And honestly, she’d probably be perfectly happy with a comfy couch, a few good dog friends, and someone who appreciates a girl who knows how to behave herself.

Zinnia is a beautiful **2–3 year old Catahoula mix** with striking markings, soulful eyes, and a wonderfully sweet, easygoing personality. She is **calm, relaxed and content**, making her the kind of dog who fits nicely into the rhythm of a home rather than turning it upside down. She is so affectionate and loving with humans but also not clingy or needy.

She currently lives with **three other dogs and does great with everyone**. She enjoys having canine companions around and has proven to be a friendly, happy member of the pack. There is also a young teenager in her foster home, and while she hasn't been around small children, we suspect her gentle, easygoing nature would make her quite good with them, too.

And here's something we love about Zinnia: **she is house trained and very well behaved in the house.** During the day, while her foster mom is at work, Zinnia has free roam of the house with her dog siblings and handles it like a pro. No crate confinement required, no puppy-level chaos—just a good girl hanging out with her friends and waiting for everyone to come home.

Zinnia is also proof that you can teach an old dog new tricks—or at least a young adult dog new ones! **She had never been walked on a leash before coming into rescue**, but she's picked up the general idea and now enjoys going on outings with her foster dog siblings. She's still working on perfecting her leash skills, but she clearly enjoys being included in the fun.

Zinnia isn't demanding or high-maintenance. She's simply a **sweet, affectionate, well-adjusted girl who wants to be part of a family**. Give her a comfortable place to sleep, some companionship, a little adventure now and then, and she'll be perfectly content to be your loyal sidekick.

If you're looking for a dog who is **great with other dogs, house trained, well behaved, easygoing and ready to settle into family life**, Zinnia may just be your girl.

Apply to adopt Zinnia: [https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/](https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/)

Her $250 adoption fee includes her spay, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming and microchip.
