Ziggy

Meet Ziggy, who comes to us from the Guilford County Animal Shelter. He came from a cruelty seizure in May of 2026. He was found in a parked RV with 15 other dogs. The animals were left in no ac for multiple days where the heat outside was reaching 90 degrees and higher. The RV was described as containing severe amounts of trash, urine, and fecal matter with the trash piling 12-24 inches high making the floors hidden and unseen. Ziggy is an 8-year-old, 8 lb., Yorkie. Despite his past, he is the happiest, funniest, most loving little man. Sadly, he had a broken jaw where he didn't receive proper medical attention (or any at all), and it healed out of line. But it makes him that much cuter. Ziggy loves everyone and everything. His tail never stops wagging. He does get scared some when he finds himself alone but once he finds his person he calms immediately. He is crate trained and seems to be housetrained as well.
