Meet Ziggy ! This beautiful pure bred Cane Corso is currently fostering with many other 'bully" breeds. His current foster caregiver understands and is experienced with the ability and nature of the breed. We also require an owner that has prior experience with large and or "bully" breeds, Ziggy is amazing around people but, is shy at first and needs to warm up to you before he lets anyone love on him. In true make Corso fashion Ziggy is weary of strangers and will guard his owner, property, and family. He has no issues with other dogs here male or female. Ziggy's previous owner didn't treat him with the love and attention he needed so he is now getting it with his foster home. Hee loves to sit on your lap as if he's a lap dog. However, like most adult Corsos, Ziggy needs structure and boundaries. He needs a confident, firm pack leader to help him maintain his place in the pack. When we say this, we do not mean that someone needs to be rough with him or use excessive negative training methods. Rather, Ziggy simply needs an owner who will continue to use his training commands, exercise him regularly, and have him follow house rules. Please tell us a little bit about yourself and your living situation prior to inquiring about this dog. Questions and inquires are answered via e-mail only. <br/>Please read everything below, most of your questions may be answered in our description.<br/>All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, dewormed, licensed, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Also included is a free health check by our licensed veterinarian. The dogs that come out of our program are very well socialized when they leave, both with people, and other dogs. It is up to the new owners to maintain this. All of our dogs, young and old are crate trained. This gives the new owner a head start for house breaking, and to curb any separation anxiety and or destructive behavior. Most of our dogs are in foster homes and we are able to tell you lots about each of their personalities. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An adoption fee, application, and contract are required.
