She is a huge cuddler who loves nothing more than being close to her people—especially if that means sitting on the couch and quietly watching the world out the window. She rarely barks and has a very gentle, easygoing presence in the home.<br/><br/>She enjoys walks and gets adorably excited when it’s time to go out—doing little “happy stomps” in anticipation. A fenced yard would be wonderful for her, but it’s not required—she also does very well on leash walks. She would love a home where she gets plenty of attention, petting, and companionship.<br/><br/>🏠 Training & Behavior<br/>House trained<br/><br/>Crate trained (goes in willingly and sleeps in her crate)<br/><br/>Calm when left alone, no destructive behavior<br/><br/>Knows: sit, crate<br/><br/>Working on: stay (picking it up quickly)<br/><br/>Leash manners: excited at first, but settles quickly and walks well with light guidance<br/><br/>No resource guarding (she’s even comfortable eating with you nearby)<br/><br/>Very friendly with strangers, including children<br/><br/>Initially nervous in new environments but adjusts quickly and becomes a “shadow” dog once comfortable<br/><br/>🐕 Socialization<br/>Dogs: Not reactive on leash; currently a bit nervous with high-energy dogs in home<br/><br/>Cats: Previously reported good with cats (not recently tested in foster home)<br/><br/>Kids: Calm and sweet with children approximately ages 6–10<br/><br/>💕 Summary<br/><br/>Zeva is the definition of a gentle, loyal companion. She’s affectionate, well-mannered, and happiest just being near her people. Please note that we cannot hold dogs for any reason.<br/><br/>Please only apply if you are ready to meet and welcome a new companion into your home within five days of approval.<br/><br/><br/>Breed and Age Information: Unless the puppy was born in our care, we cannot guarantee the breed or age.
