He tries getting my boxer Roxy to play but she isn't interested. He does the boxer bow to me trying to get me to chase him. He’s now ready for his new home! <br/><br/>9/17/26-Zeus is doing well. I am slowly getting him on a schedule. This week he has been in his crate while I am in the office. His crate has remained dry both days. He has had a few accidents in the house. This is likely due to the fact he tends to keep his eyes on me rather than focusing on what he is supposed to do outside. He is getting along with my boxer Roxy even if she gives him grief. He enjoys attention and follows me around. Right now he hates it when he cannot see me. I am finding he does some excitement jumping when I come home. A firm sit command usually works to slow him down. He has met both men and women without any issues. Zeus will need training, patience and more socializing. He is a handsome boy with a playful personality.<br/><br/>9/11/26-Zeus was neutered today. He is Lyme positive (tick borne infection, not contagious to other pets or people) & he will be starting doxycycline antibiotics to clear it up. Once we get to know him & his needs for a new home a little better, he will be able to be matched to his new home. <br/><br/>9/9/26-Zeus is very handsome. He is very sweet and still has some puppy playfulness. Right now Zeus is very much a velcro boy. I cannot move without him by my side or in my way. Lol He is doing well with my dog. He is adjusting to his new food and eating well if he is not distracted. If I am in the house he does not like to be in his crate. At night he sleeps next to the bed on the floor. I do crate him when I am not at home. He settles but I find he wets the crate. Hopefully that will change with adjusting. However, he lived in a 5x5 kennel in the past. <br/><br/>9/5/26-Zeus is a handsome 4 year old boxer that came in today from a small breeder that was downsizing. He came from the same place as Ruby & Riley (both recently adopted) & they were both sweet dogs. The breeding dogs were not kept in the house so he will need time to adjust. His shots & checkup are tomorrow, neuter is this Thursday 9/10 & he will be ready to go home soon after.
