Hi, my name is Zeus! Here is what would work best for me in my new home:

-Personality: Athletic, energetic, a little anxious, loving
-Can Live with Kids: Zeus lived with kids (unknown ages) in his very first home, and based on our observations at the shelter, think he could live with respectful, dog-experienced kids aged 8+. Any potential adopters should keep in mind that Zeus can be jumpy and rough in play, and will likely knock small kids down.
-Can Live with Cats: Unknown history. Zeus chases squirrels and may chase cats if they run from him. May do okay with a confident cat after a prolonged, supervised intro process in the home.
-Can Live with Dogs: Zeus is dog-selective and may not be friends with every single dog he meets (totally normal!), but he could potentially coexist with an easygoing dog who can respect his boundaries. Everyone will need to meet at the shelter first to ensure they're a good match. Because Zeus is easily overstimulated in groups of dogs, dog parks are not recommended for him.
-Can do Apartment Living: No-- Zeus' previous owner advised us that he would not be well suited for apartment living due to his high energy level. He can also be vocal when left alone.

-Bite History: No
-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: Yes, one private lesson.

-Additional Information: Meet Zeus! This sweet lil dude is always up for an adventure-- just pick up his leash and he will show you how excited he is to join you! An athletic, energetic dog, Zeus will need an equally active family who spends their time running, hiking, and exploring. Zeus is a snugglebug and leans into your legs when he wants attention. Bring him a tennis ball and some string cheese and he'll be your new best friend!
