Just under a year old and weighing 72 pounds, she has long gazelle-like legs and an impressive vertical - she can jump higher than the average person’s head, all in playful excitement. Zenya is truly a big baby: loving, affectionate, playful, and smart. She has passed her cat test and does well with proper boundaries. Due to her size and exuberant energy, Zenya will need slow, thoughtful introductions to other dogs. With guidance and structure, and some training, she will make a wonderful, fun-loving companion. *This dog is eligible for Black Dog Friday promotion - adopt a black dog in the month of December and be eligible for a FREE etiquette class in January. Unchained Melodies Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

Unchained Melodies goal is to match the right dog with the right family. Each application is read carefully and every adoption application will receive an automated e-mail response if the application is submitted properly through unchainedmelodies.org. A follow up e-mail or phone call after receiving the application will be made within 48-72 hours of receiving the complete application. Meet and greets with the entire family are required. We do not adopt "outside dogs" or "guard dogs" We require home visits and we do not facilitate out of State adoptions.
