Zena found herself all alone near a highway. Thankfully a Good Samaritan rescued her from harm's way and reached out to us to rescue her. <br/><br/>We felt Zena needed a strong name based on her beginnings and boy does it suit her! Fearless and full of personality, Zena takes life by the tail. A super smart girl, she is eager to learn anything you teach her and she will teach you a few things too along the way! Zena shadows the Pyrenees mix in her foster home and mimics what he does. She loves playing with toys and playing with and sometimes climbing on the resident Pyr. She definitely needs a male dog in her furever home who will be tolerant of her puppy antics. She's already potty trained at her age- approx 7 weeks and does well in a crate when leaving the house for very short periods. She's accustomed to being in an Xpen at home when you can't have your eyes on her at all times, although when she's not tired she uses her Pyr thinking skills to try to escape the Xpen. Whoever adopts this lovable spitfire is going to be kept on their toes! <br/><br/>Zena will come to her adopter up to date on age appropriate core vaccines, microchipped and up to date on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. She will be adopted on a spay/neuter contract with adopter promising to spay at a later date and must show vet records at that time. <br/><br/>Zena is being fostered in Kansas City area <br/><br/>Adoption Requirements <br/>*A secure & visible fence <br/>*Another dog in the home <br/>*A home visit <br/>*A vet check with at least a two year vet history <br/><br/>Adopters can be located in Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, and Arkansas. We are able to help transport to those states.
