Zen is nothing short of amaZEN! This devilishly handsome shepherd/retriever mix is a 1-year old, 85-pound package of pure perfection.

Housebroken, happy, and eager to please, Zen is a total joy to be around. He gets along great with other dogs and is lovely around both adults and kids. He rides well in a car and loves going for walks. He thinks most dog toys are boring, but he’ll gladly play fetch any time you want ;-).

Zen is a people dog, through-and-through. Wherever you are, he wants to be. He’ll follow you around the house like a shadow...just in case you need help with meal prep or any other daily chore! He welcomes love and affection whenever offered, and he’s comfortable being touched all over. He’s the kind of dog who wants to hang close to you, snooze next to you, and even kiss you if you let him. MWAH!

Smart and sensitive, Zen is a quick learner and easily picks up your cues. He is responsive to treats and understands drop it and no. He is upbeat, goofy, and energetic while out and about, but mellow and quiet while at home inside chilling. He sleeps through the night like a gem and takes several naps throughout the day. He’s fine being left home alone, but he’s so sweet to be with, you might find yourself saying, Nama-stay home tonight with my boy Zen!
