Meet Zelda, an 11 pound, Chihuahua mix that is 7 years old. She is truly a sweet soul with a gentle heart. She may be a little shy when you first meet her, but give her a little time and patience and you’ll see her start to shine. Once she feels comfortable, Zelda comes out of her shell and happily leans in for cuddles, soaking up affection from her favorite people.<br/><br/>She has a laid-back nature that makes her an easy companion, but she still enjoys a bit of playtime and fun when the mood strikes. Zelda is the perfect balance of calm and playful, making her a wonderful addition to a loving, patient home.<br/><br/>This pup will truly thrive in a home with a canine companion. We’d love to see her adopted with Charles or into a home that already has a confident, friendly dog to show her the ropes. Having a built-in best friend will help her feel safe, build confidence, and blossom into her happiest self.<br/><br/>Her minimum adoption fee is $200 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.
