My name is Zelda and I am estimated to be 3-5 years of age. I was dumped in the middle of nowhere and left to fend for myself and had been starved prior to that. It took a team of people to capture me and get me to safety. I ran from all of them at first because I was so afraid.<br/><br/>Once I was captured, I knew I had found a safe place. I calmed down and rode to the shelter happily with my rescuers. At the shelter I was given a soft place to lay down where I had warmth and food and fresh water. They took care of my health and prepared me to go to rescue for a new home.<br/><br/>I am so grateful for all who helped me when I was in such desperate need! I have shown my gratitude in kisses and snuggles.<br/><br/>I am ready for a forever home, one where I will get lots of love and food and water and any care that I need.<br/><br/>I have gotten along with other dogs I have met. I have not been cat tested.<br/><br/>I am eager to learn and to please and to love. I am a beautiful petite girl who just wants to love and be loved.<br/><br/>If you are interested in me, please review and the adoption rules. All dogs are tail docked. All of the above Dobes are pure breed Dobermans unless otherwise noted.We hope you can find a place in your heart and your home for one of our rescue Dobes.Please Note:In most cases we require a fenced yard.We do not place our rescue dogs in homes with very young children (under the age of 8 years). We set these limitations, not because of aggression issues with our dogs, but because Dobermans are generally large, active dogs and can easily knock down, run over or easily trip a small child, causing a serious fall.
