Zeke H 22035 Cocker Spaniel Parker, CO

Zeke is looking for his retirement home. He is a wonderful senior with a heart of gold. He does have a mild heart murmur. Zeke is a big lover who will bark at strangers but doesnt show aggression to people or dogs. He does bark relatively often at nothing but will stop if you comfort him. Zeke will sit for treats and barks at the door when he needs to go potty. Even though he is deaf or hard of hearing, Zeke is a wonderful older guy. He has some of the typical lipomas that older cocker get. Has an eye stye that causes mild tearing. Zeke is mostly deaf but responds to clapping or whistling. He has cloudy eyes but gets around just fine and hasnt ever bumped into anything. Eats kidney function prescription food. He has no arthritis or mobility issues, climbs stairs with no problems and loves his walks. Does very well on a leash and doesnt pull. He is sensitive about his paws but still lets me trim his nails. He can usually make it through the night without having to go outside but if he does have to go, he will sit near the bed and start to gently bark, initially quietly but progressively louder until he gets your attention. Zeke is very easy to fall in love with! He is looking for that special home to live out his days.
