Zeke's Story

Zeke's Dream Home

Zeke is the kind of young dog who is ready to be your best friend and your adventure buddy all in one. His perfect home would be with a family who wants a playful, affectionate companion and, ideally, another fun-loving dog to keep him company. Big dog, little dog—Zeke truly isn’t picky! He adores his humans and is always happy to be by your side, whether that means snuggling on the couch, warming your feet at the end of the day, joining you for a beach day and campfire with friends, or curling up beside you as the world winds down. Zeke has so much love to give and would thrive in a home where he can be part of the family, share in the fun, and soak up all the affection he deserves.

Zeke's Story

Zeke’s story started in a heartbreaking way. He and another dog were driven to a location, dropped off, and left behind as their person drove away. Thankfully, a Good Samaritan witnessed what happened, scooped up both dogs, and reached out to our rescue cohort in Wasco, California. From there, Zeke made his way to us on dog transport, giving him the chance at the fresh start he so desperately needed. When Zeke first arrived, he was understandably shy and unsure of his new surroundings, but it didn’t take long for his true personality to shine through. Before long, he was showing us his amazingly sweet, silly, playful side—and we knew there was a very special dog underneath that initial shyness. He had something called cherry eye (a small bulge of the third eyelid) which has now been fixed and he's feeling great. Now all Zeke needs is the family who will show him that he was never meant to be left behind.
