Zeke's Story
Zeke is an adorable 2 year old, 9 pound, miniature poodle. He, is cuddly, playful and loves anything that involved interacting with people. He is well behaved and knows lots of training cues. A great little dog!

He is house trained, walks well on leash, rides well in the car. He is accustomed to sleeping in his humans' bed, and we will seek a home where he can continue that beloved tradition. (He sleeps well through the night.)

Zeke does not love being alone, so we are seeking a home where he will hardly be left. He will whine, at least initially, in his new home, and if he wants a taste of his human's food. Please be able to see him through his transition.

He is friendly with other small dogs, and though he has not lived with a cat, he has gone nose to nose with one without issue.

Zeke is fostered in Albany, Oregon.

He is neutered, vaccinated including Bordatella and Leptospirosis, micro-chipped and on flea/tick prevention. His adoption fee, a donation to the rescue that is rehoming him for his family, is $500.

A great home for Zeke and his must haves include:

1. An owned home with a securely fenced yard.
2. Folks who are around a lot and will rarely need to leave Zeke alone.
3. Adopters who treat their pups as family members, including them in their fun activities.
4. People who believe in good nutrition for their dogs (he currently eats...), and good veterinary care, who will walk Zeke daily. Adopters who know the cost of grooming a pup every 4-6 weeks.
5. We want Zeke's next home to be his forever home, and will consider folks young enough to remain active for the rest of his life.

If you are meet ALL criteria, don't miss out on this great rare guy.
Please complete an application. Please answer all questions thoroughly and with detail, even if the answer is "no" or N/A. Incomplete applications cannot be processed.

Please be available to adopt a dog now; we cannot hold dogs.
We are unable to accept telephone inquiries as rescue is very very busy. We will respond to applications that meet all criteria and that we think may be the best matches. We expect Zeke to receive a lot of attention, so we may not be able to reply to every applicant. Please give us time to reply.

Non-cigarette smoking homes only, please.

Thank you.
