Yuri's Story

Yuri is about 18 months old and 10.5 pounds. She came from a hoarder, so she is still working on some things, but s

he’s sweet and adorable. She loves to follow you around and snuggle. She loves walks and is great on leash. She’s surprisingly good with kids, and gets along with dogs of all sizes and is fine with cats. She’s not a biter!

Yuri seems like she was potty trained, and can hold it for a long period of time, but she is still working on where the right place to go is. Her adopter should expect to continue to work on it and be patient with this sweet little girl.

She has a bit of separation anxiety so might not be the right dog for shared-wall living.

Yuri is a very picky eater, and her foster has learned some tricks to get her to eat which she will share with the adopter

Yuri would do great in a home with other dogs, particularly a confident one she can learn from. She might also like someone who works from home. But mostly she just needs someone patient, preferably with little dog experience. She just needs time and confidence and love!

Grateful Dogs Rescue incurs substantial veterinary and other expenses in rescuing our dogs. In order to recoup some of these costs, we request a tax-deductible donation for each adoption. The suggested donation for Yuri is $300.

If you are interested in adopting Yuri, please complete our online adoption application at
https://www.gratefuldogsrescue.org/adoption-process/

.
