Yuri is a 7.5-year-old female who arrived in the United States on October 1! She is settling into her foster home, receiving lots of love from her foster mom and dad, and adjusting to life with their two resident dogs.<br/><br/>Yuri’s life began when her mother, Bella, was rescued while giving birth to five puppies. Bella and three of her puppies found loving homes in the U.S., while Yuri and one sibling remained in Korea.<br/><br/>Yuri was once adopted by a young family, but sadly, she was later kept tied up outdoors and neglected. Thankfully, she was rescued again and given another chance.<br/><br/>Yuri loves people, food, and playing fetch with her favorite ball! She has a sweet, gentle personality and is ready to enjoy the comfort and security of a loving home.<br/><br/>Meet-and-greets are available! If you expect to be away longer, we strongly encourage doggy daycare or another appropriate care option.<br/>* We typically do not adopt to homes with children under 8 years old.<br/>* Applicants must be at least 25 years old and live within a 45-minute driving distance of Springfield, Virginia (Northern Virginia and the Washington, DC suburbs only).<br/>* A home check is required before adoption.<br/>* Applicants must have a social media account so we can receive post-adoption updates. As a result, skills such as house training, leash walking, and adjusting to family life may take a little extra time. Patience, understanding, and gentle guidance are essential.
